Discover the Unfolding

Dillpreit Kaur in a teal coloured top holding a copy of her first book - The Action Gap.
Hi, I'm Dillpreit Kaur, author of The Co-Prosperity Series and founder of GoalWeaver. What we are building here first began as a blurry vision—much like a long-lens photograph. Perhaps you can relate. Far out on the horizon, there is something you can sense but cannot yet make out clearly. Is it a mirage, or is there something tangible there? Curiosity became our guide, as it often does when we cannot yet see the whole picture. What emerges along the way can be disappointing, bringing unexpected changes of direction—or revealing that there is no clear path at all. Yet these moments often spark epiphanies, followed by more questioning, refinement, and fine-tuning. The process—the journey itself—can be both deeply frightening and profoundly rewarding. By this point, we have also learned to hold seemingly conflicting realities and make space for emotions that may not seem to belong together. As the distant image gradually comes into focus, a natural question emerges: How do we implement this? In our case, rhetoric alone was not enough. And so, the journey continues until we arrive at a crossroads—one where we must leave behind intellect, pride, ego, and ambition, even when they are accompanied by good intentions. Are we able to surrender? Can we let go of what we think we know?
My path towards these questions has taken me through seemingly different worlds: from volunteering across a broad spectrum of community and social causes, to working with NGOs and human rights advocacy, think tanks and politics; from internet governance and mobile journalism to venture building, corporate sustainability, tax policy, and digital customer experience. Each exposed me to different ways of understanding problems, making decisions, allocating resources, exercising power, and designing systems around human needs. These experiences were interspersed with travels through different cultures, landscapes, communities, and ways of seeing — 93 cities across 36 countries and territories on five continents to date. One experience would often illuminate another. Gradually, connections emerged, revealing how the same underlying questions could surface in remarkably different contexts. This became the great weave — bringing together seemingly disparate experiences, perspectives, places, and ways of knowing into a picture that began to reveal something more whole: How do we live well? How do we relate to one another? What do we owe each other? What allows us all to flourish? The real integration eventually began when I was called to return home. My spiritual journey took me through many traditions — Christianity, Sufism, Buddhism, Hinduism to name a few — each revealing a universal resonance. As I ventured outward, there were further ego deaths and calls to surrender. What I was searching for remained elusive until, almost unexpectedly, the path turned me inward. As I encountered my Guru through Sikh scripture, the universal resonance I had sensed across these traditions only deepened, affirming the great weave emerging through GoalWeaver.

Tend to the Roots

Root work is uncovering the beliefs, experiences, patterns, relationships, values, and assumptions that quietly shape our lives. We are always cultivating something through our attention, relationships, incentives, habits, expectations, and choices. The question is whether we are aware of what we are cultivating. By bringing these underlying influences into awareness, we begin to recognise what keeps us disconnected from ourselves, from one another, and from the source of life — and what helps us return to ourselves, to peace, and to steadiness. We cannot assume that all the roots that sustain us are healthy. Some may be neglected, wounded, tangled, or no longer capable of nourishing the life we are trying to grow. And sometimes, the soil itself is no longer nourishing. What once felt like the right place for us may no longer be where we can flourish. Root work therefore also asks whether we have the courage to uproot — to loosen our hold on what we have known, leave what no longer sustains life, and seek soil that is more nourishing and sustainable, even when doing so comes at a cost.

Where Do We Come From?

This is probably one of the most rewarding parts of any journey — to know where home is, even when our sense of who we are and where we come from may feel less certain. Many of us have felt displaced at some point in our lives. As though we do not belong, that we are different, excluded, or somehow outside of what others seem to experience so naturally — even when we know it is not the truth. These experiences may have been painful, but what they have given us — the way they have shaped how we see, what we are able to recognise, and what we can carry forward — may be where the real gift lies. Many of us also come from immigrant backgrounds, whether in this generation or generations ago, or because we are immigrants ourselves. The impact of that journey can be significant when we pause to consider what home really means to us. While some of us are fortunate to have many homes — places, people, cultures, and communities in which we feel we belong — others may spend much of their lives trying to make a particular place, identity, or belonging feel like home, only to find themselves struggling. Sometimes what is missing is not a place at all, but the feeling of having been held, protected, nurtured, and free simply to be. Some of us may have had to grow up too quickly, carry too much, or create for ourselves what was not always available to us. This invites us to see that home can be more than where we come from. It can be something we learn to recognise and restore within ourselves — a place where innocence can remain, where we can feel safe enough to receive, and strong enough to protect and nurture what matters. Knowing where we come from can therefore help us recognise where we belong within ourselves, so that who we are can find its fullest expression. And so, this work is also an ode to those who came before us — our ancestors, our parents, and all those who carried what they could so that we might have today. To those who journeyed from afar in search of opportunity, a better life, or simply a different possibility; to those who put others’ needs first, sometimes without having the space or opportunity to tend to their own unfinished journeys. We honour what we are carrying, and what those before us were not always able to receive — making space for new beginnings hereon.

Why We Care

When we appreciate our visions and honour our roots, we naturally begin to see the world through a lens of interconnectedness and shared humanity. For us at GoalWeaver, this made one thing increasingly apparent: we are not separate from the systems and environments in which we live. We participate within them, inherit their patterns, adapt to their conditions, and shape them through our choices and relationships. When our understanding becomes distorted, burdens accumulate, or relationships fall out of right relationship, our capacity to participate meaningfully can become constrained. Dignity can as a result erode, often without deliberate intent. If noticed, we may repair what has been lost. If unresolved, we may perpetuate the very harm we experienced. For us, dis-ease can be a clear signal that something needs to change. When dysregulation, strain, disconnection, or misalignment persist, they can still become normalised — within ourselves, our relationships, organisations, and wider systems. We may adapt so thoroughly to conditions that no longer serve us that we stop noticing their cost. Awareness of this dis-ease is therefore not a reason for fear or blame, but an invitation to pay attention, understand what is asking to change, and find more sustainable ways of being. This can be challenging when change asks us to move beyond what has become familiar. And restoration takes time, commitment, and a willingness to remain present to what is true. This is why we care: co-prosperity is possible when there are clear pathways for more care, belonging and inclusion to manifest in our lives.

How We May Begin

This site brings together interconnected frameworks, tools, ideas, and ways of seeing that support learning, restoration, and regeneration across individuals, relationships, organisations, communities, and ecosystems. We therefore welcome you to begin where you are. Approach what resonates. Wherever you enter, there is a pathway for you to explore. At the heart of this work is a simple observation: how we perceive shapes how we participate, and how we participate shapes the futures we create together.
This is the movement from individual dignity to relational dignity: not only asking what conditions enable each person to flourish, but what kind of people and communities we become through our relationships with one another—and what we become capable of creating together. For systems to align with this direction, three factors may help: • Coherence — can different parts of a system — its people, values, relationships, structures, knowledge, and ways of acting — be understood in relation to one another and contribute towards a meaningful whole? • Congruence — are what we value and understand reflected in how we relate, decide, act, and organise, bringing the inner and outer dimensions of our participation into greater alignment? • Convergence — can diverse perspectives, pathways, actors, and forms of participation move towards a shared direction without requiring uniformity, while increasingly orienting the system towards right relationship? When these conditions reinforce one another, co-prosperity can naturally emerge, enabling people, relationships, systems, and the living world to flourish together.

What We May Cultivate

Shared Humanity
Notice when we struggle — bandwidth, capacity and participation are interconnected. Bring what we value, how we relate, and how we act into greater alignment.
Truth Alignment
See beyond our own partial view, open to wider possibilities, and come closer to what is true. Noticing what may be keeping us separate and restore our connection to Truth.
Right Relationship
We are all part of a whole, and we need each other. Consider people, relationships, systems and the living world together — recognising that we flourish together.
The dignity® Practice System is being developed to build individual, relational and collective capacity. The resources currently available offer a first way to experience the practice while the wider system continues to take shape.
