About dignity®
Based on our research, we uncovered a recurring paradox: organisations often declare a strong commitment to stakeholder wellbeing and purposeful impact, yet struggle to deliver on these promises. This disconnect between intention and implementation is what we call the dignity gap.
To navigate sustainability authentically, we believe dignity must be explored in all its complexity. At its core, dignity begins with recognising human worth—independent of market value—at both individual and societal levels. When overlooked, dignity gaps can deepen into intergenerational wounds: silent, yet profoundly felt across communities and time.
Importantly, this gap is not confined to institutions alone. As individual employees and leaders, we too may find ourselves unable to walk the talk—whether due to limited knowledge, lack of discernment, or unresolved tensions.
